Caron Treatment Centers Launches New Recovery Platform with CHESS Health

24/7 Services will Benefit Individuals with After-Treatment for Substance Use Disorder

Wernersville, PA, May 11, 2023 – CHESS Health, the leading provider of evidence-based digital health solutions for substance use disorder (SUD), today announced a new partnership with Caron Treatment Centers to offer CHESS Health’s eRecovery platform as part of Caron’s aftercare services.

“Caron believes that connection is essential to a sustained and healthy recovery,” said Paige Bottom, Executive Vice President of Regional Services for Caron Treatment Centers. “With an active recovery community and recovery support services programs that offer intensive and personalized assistance, Caron is excited about expanding the availability of its support through the CHESS Health platform.”

CHESS Health’s eRecovery solution includes a comprehensive set of digital tools and tech-enabled human support, creating patient-centered care for substance use disorder, mental health services, and social support – all easily accessible through the smartphone app, Connections. The Connections app will provide Caron’s alumni and their families with 24/7 support that is designed to reduce isolation, increase motivation, build confidence, reinforce coping skills, and strengthen adherence to treatment and recovery plans.

“It’s essential that recovery support reaches patients where they are,” said Hans Morefield, CEO of CHESS Health. “That means getting support tools like the Connections app in individuals’ hands as they leave treatment facilities, start outpatient care, or even pre-treatment. We’re proud to partner with Caron Treatment Centers, an organization that has been committed to transforming lives impacted by addiction for nearly 70 years,” said Morefield.

“We offer personalized treatment and support that restores hope and health for individuals and their families,” explained David Rotenberg, Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Office at Caron Treatment Centers. “Our mission is Recovery for Life and we continually look at opportunities to better support our alumni and families throughout their recovery. We’re excited about this new partnership to extend our comprehensive aftercare services.”
