Arkansas Recovery Support Solution

The Arkansas Department of Human Services, Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (OSAMH) has partnered with CHESS Health to make an evidence-based recovery support solution, eRecovery, available to the state’s mental health and substance use disorder-focused organizations, including behavioral health providers and Recovery Community Organizations (RCOs).

 This resource is available at no cost to eligible partners.  

Digital Recovery Support Tools for Peers and Providers to offer Arkansans

Connections recovery support app extends the reach of providers and peers to offer individuals in recovery with:

  • Crisis intervention, available 24/7 to support individuals at any time during risk moments
  • Daily check-ins that help individuals stay on track and celebrate progress
  • Digital CBT tools to reinforce recovery skills learned in person
  • Supportive online community moderated by peers
  • Online meetings covering a variety of topics and geared for everyone, including some specialty audiences
  • A library of coping and recovery tools, including worksheets, surveys, articles, goal-setting tips, and more

This app is available both in English and Spanish

Companion family and caregiver support app extends your program’s impact by supporting family members, friends, and caregivers with a moderated digital community that offers guidance, shared experiences, and valuable resources for recovery and self-care.  Companion offers:

  • A private, understanding community of fellow caregivers
  • Educational resources on treatment, recovery, and medication
  • Daily encouragement and guided journaling tools
  • Access to discussion forums and emotional support

Peer to Peer Support and Extended Client Reach

Beyond the client benefits of Connections and Companion, the following Recovery Care Organizations are providing these tools to their Peer Support Specialists. This provides specialists with access to an online community of peers, offering peer-to-peer support, dedicated meetings and learning sessions, self-care resources available in Connections, and a streamlined process for enrolling clients into the support program.
