CHESS Health Solution Extends Reach of Fully Virtual Addiction Services Program
Rochester, NY — CHESS Health is pleased to announce its eRecovery solution, including the innovative Connections app, is being offered by Wholeview Direct, an entirely virtual outpatient addiction recovery program in New York. The app is available to Wholeview Direct clients served by Medicaid with access facilitated through EmblemHealth, a CHESS Health partner.
The Connections app provides critical 24/7 peer support, moderated discussion forums, educational resources, virtual support meetings, daily check-ins, and crisis response, complementing and enhancing Wholeview Direct’s virtual care model.

Dr. Church, who first learned about CHESS Health during her fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine with Dr. Kathleen Carroll (an early partner in developing CHESS Health’s Skill Builder module, which offers digital Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques), understands the benefits of providing a 24/7 option for her clients. “Being part of a supportive community, where people truly understand your journey and your goals, can make all the difference,” she said, noting that it is especially needed by clients in remote areas or smaller communities.
