OnTrack Rogue Valley Launches Platform to Support Individuals in Treatment and Recovery for Substance Use Disorder

Rochester, New York and Rogue Valley, Oregon, August 30, 2022 – CHESS Health, the leading provider of service-enabled technology supporting the addiction management and recovery lifecycle, today announced that OnTrack Rogue Valley, a nonprofit Southern Oregon treatment and recovery agency, has launched eRecovery and the Connections App to support individuals on their path to recovery from problematic substance use and substance use disorder (SUD).

The CHESS platform includes a comprehensive set of digital tools and tech-enabled human support, creating person-centered care for SUD, behavioral health services, and social support – all easily accessible through a smartphone.   The program is especially needed in the wake of increased overdose deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic and rising demand for treatment and recovery services.

OnTrack Rogue Valley operates three residential and three outpatient treatment programs across two counties in southern Oregon.  Individuals seeking treatment will have access to Connections app from CHESS and 24/7 peer support help them reduce isolation, gain motivation, build confidence, and adhere to their treatment and recovery plan. The Connections App is optimized for behavioral health and SUD treatment– resulting in better outcomes including lower rates of drop out and increased engagement in supportive services

“We are excited to offer the CHESS Health app to individuals seeking services at OnTrack,” says Executive Director Sommer Wolcott.  “Our partnership provides lifelong access to peer supports and connection to a recovery community day or night, no matter where they live.”

Oregon ranks second nationally in addiction-related deaths and last in access to treatment, according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

“It’s essential that recovery support reaches patients where they are,” said Hans Morefield, CEO of CHESS Health.  “That means getting support tools like the Connections app in individuals’ hands as they leave treatment facilities, start outpatient care, or even pre-treatment.  We’re proud to partner with the team at On Track Rogue Valley – the perfect complement to our technology.”
