ROCHESTER, NY, September 8, 2021 – CHESS Health, the leading provider of comprehensive addiction care management technology and support services, announced today the addition of a senior marketing leader and two regional sales executives to cover the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and West Coast markets.

Jennifer Russo has joined the organization as the vice president of marketing.  Russo comes with over 20 years of senior-level marketing expertise, having previous served in executive functions at CareCentrix and Medco (now ExpressScripts).  She will oversee the organization’s marketing strategy, including brand initiatives and demand creation approaches.

Brenda Berry joins the company as regional sales executive for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. With more than three decades in both business and behavioral healthcare, Berry is responsible for expanding the CHESS Health portfolio of national and international substance use disorder (SUD) and addiction clients throughout this region.

Bryan Wempen joins the company as regional sales executive for the West Coast region. He brings more than 30 years of experience in sales and enterprise healthcare technology and is the author of “Sober Is Better: My Note to Self” (Inheritance Press, April 2019) and “Note to Self: A Collection of 99 Life Lessons” (Inheritance Press, 2015). Wempen will apply his expertise to continue to grow CHESS Health’s programs across the region, furthering the organization’s mission of addressing the crisis of SUD from intervention to treatment to recovery.

“CHESS Health has experienced rapid growth over the past year. We know our evidence-based technology can continue to help many organizations fight SUD,” said Hans Morefield, chief executive officer, CHESS Health. “This past year has been challenging for so many individuals battling SUD because of increasing levels of isolation. We are thrilled to have Jennifer, Brenda, and Bryan join our team and are looking forward to their contributions to the continued growth of the company and against the societal crisis posed by SUD.”
